Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing
administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation
of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and
patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care
management, organization and communication.Responsibilities-
Interview patients and document basic medical history- Measure
vital signs- Organize and schedule appointments- Update and file
medical records and insurance reports- Check with patients and type
up patients charts- Assist during medical examinations- Prepare and
clean treatment rooms and medical instruments- Stock exam rooms-
Follow up on patient calls and requests- Assist physician with
procedures and needs- Assist office manager with assignments and
tasks- Assist reception with rescheduling patients and filling out
forms, if needed- Manage MA specific sections of working
spreadsheets- Close down clinic when clinic is over for the day-
Attend staff meetings- Attend 1:1 with manager- All other duties as
assignedRequirements- Proven working experience as a medical
assistant or medical secretary- Knowledge of medical office
management systems and procedures- Excellent time management skills
and ability to multitask and prioritize work- Social perceptiveness
and service oriented- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills- Strong organizational and planning skills- Proficiency in
MS Office and patient management software-- Understanding and
proficient in HIPAA rules and regulationsWork Schedule: FULL TIME -
M-Friday 845-5pm or when last patient leaves for the dayBenefits:-
